WTF, Revisited
Let’s be honest. Some topics don’t invite calm discussion—they demand outrage. Gain-of-function research, mRNA experiments, and the global biotech boom?
This is one of those moments when outrage isn’t just valid—it’s necessary.
You start by reading a headline or hearing a podcast: another lab leak, another unexplained spike in mortality, another excuse from some suit with a sanitized script. At first, it’s disbelief. Then comes the quiet horror. And finally, a little voice in the back of your mind says it:
WTF are we doing?
This isn’t a call to reject science. It’s a call to reclaim it from the grip of those who treat living systems like playthings and the human population like a test group. We deserve better than being lied to, gaslit, and labeled conspiracy theorists for asking the right questions.
The Lab Boom Nobody Asked For
According to public data, there are currently 51 operational Biosafety Level 4 (BSL-4) laboratories worldwide—the kind built to handle the deadliest pathogens imaginable. Eighteen more are in the works. That’s 69 high-containment labs that we know of.
But here’s the thing: do we really believe those are the only ones? Given the secrecy, the military overlap, and the history of deception from many players in this space, it would be naive to assume we’re seeing the full picture. Private labs, offshore contractors, black-budget programs? They don’t issue press releases.
And lab leaks? Far from rare. Between 2000 and 2021, there were at least 94 reported biosafety incidents, resulting in 309 infections and 8 deaths. These are not theoretical risks. They’re real-world events. And if this is what’s acknowledged, what’s happening that isn’t?
“Gain-of-function research has risks that outweigh any potential benefits. It poses a risk of creating a pandemic that could not occur naturally.”
—Dr. Richard Ebright, (Paraphrased Summary) Molecular Biologist, Rutgers University
mRNA: A Technology with a Dark Past
mRNA, short for messenger Ribonucleic Acid, wasn’t some miraculous new invention born in 2020. It was a controversial technology—growing steadily in scientific interest and funding, yet historically plagued by serious safety concerns and repeated failures in trials. Widely studied for decades, but with consistent safety issues that prevented it from moving successfully beyond the lab and into safe, effective human application. The biggest problem? Immune system overreactions and, yes, in many cases, death. Mice, ferrets, monkeys—the technology never got past the “horrific outcomes” phase.
And then, poof—Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) happened. Suddenly, all that caution disappeared. mRNA was rebranded as a silver bullet, emergency authorized, globally distributed, and marketed with the fervor of a wartime propaganda campaign. The inconvenient history? Quietly erased from public memory, buried beneath the noise of crisis and compliance.
If a technology failed for over 30 years, what exactly changed in 2020 that made it suddenly ‘safe’ for billions?
The Vaccine That Didn’t
Let’s cut through the noise. The COVID-19 mRNA vaccines:
- Didn’t stop transmission
- Didn’t prevent infection
- Offered minimal, short-term reductions in hospitalization—far less than promised and nowhere near justification for mandates
- Coincided with an increase in all-cause mortality in many countries
- Are tied to a long and growing list of adverse events, from myocarditis to neurological disorders to sudden death
And still, no one is held accountable. Big Pharma? Immune from liability. Governments? Still pushing boosters. Media? Still framing questions as threats.
We were promised a miracle—but delivered an experiment. Told we were saving lives, we were instead fed into the machinery of profit, control, and blind faith in a technology that had never been ready.
We’ve never successfully deployed this technology at scale before. And we’ve bypassed standard safety protocols to do so. That’s not science—that’s gambling.
Dr. Robert Malone, (Paraphrased Summary) Early mRNA Developer & Industry Critic
Hubris Dressed as Science
This is not about opposing science. It’s about opposing scientific arrogance. Somewhere along the way, “Follow the science” morphed into “Obey the narrative.” Dissent became heresy. Critical thinking became dangerous. And curiosity? Replaced with compliance.
Gain-of-function, mRNA, biotech expansion—they all share one thing: an underlying belief that we can outwit nature without consequence. But every empire built on hubris collapses eventually. The question is: how many of us will be dragged down with it?
A Call for a Critical Mindshift
It’s time to ask the questions we were never supposed to ask:
- Why are we creating viruses that don’t exist in nature?
- Why is failed mRNA tech being fast-tracked and mandated?
- Who benefits from this, and who pays the price?
We don’t need more blind trust. We need transparency, accountability, and a serious reckoning with how science is funded, weaponized, and politicized.
We must:
- Ban gain-of-function research globally
- Halt mRNA experimentation until independent long-term safety data exists
- Demand full disclosure of biosafety incidents
- Remove liability shields from pharmaceutical giants
Closing: On Walking Through the Garden
Earlier, I said WTF. Then I took a breath. I walked through the garden. I stared at the sky and tried to find stillness.
And what hit me was this: nature doesn’t need to be rewritten. It needs to be respected. We’ve forgotten that. In our pursuit of mastery, we’ve become reckless architects of our own undoing.
Let this article be a spark—not of fear, but of fire. Because some things are worth burning down: illusions, lies, and the dangerous myth that science without conscience is somehow noble.
We have the right to ask. The right to know. And above all—the right to say no. Not in our name.
We, the public, were not asked. We were not properly informed. We do not approve of these dangerous scientific decisions. And we will not be complicit.
